Can't get Nascar Sim Racing to load. Please help

Ok. I loaded my copy of Nascar Sim Racing onto my computer. I have been having issues with my DVD Rom lately so I want to use a NoCD crack to get around this. Anyways, I found the crack on GameCopyWorld and installed it like it said.

However when I click on the shortcut and the game goes to load all I get is a black screen. I can't exit out and have to reset my machine to get back on my desktop.

Anyone have any clue why its doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. Since it's been awhile since u posted this (I'm new) I will assume you solved it. But in case you didn't...

the problem LIKELY is your firewall, presumably Zonealarm. It's popping up the 1st-time program access allow/deny window and waiting for you to click allow/deny. Trouble is, NASCAR game doesn't allow alt-tab switching at that spot so you get stuck unless you can blindly click the right spot on the screen. Took me awhile to find it myself. The solution is to pre-add the NASCAR Racing entry into your firewall's programs list and click the allow/deny permissions BEFORE you start up NASCAR. Once that's done, it will always start perfectly.
