Well I finally got my DVD burner and i decided to back up my San Adreas cd on to a DVD-R. I have swap magic and i swapped the discs and it was working fine and even showed that long loading screen. But when its suppose to say Loading Memory card or w.e it freezes and a black screen appears and never changes. What should i do?

Oh sorry nvm. I guess that long story was messing up the backup so all I did was play the original for a few missions and then saved it and now the back up works. Sorry :(

its probably a media issue, what brand are you using, this can happen with cheap media

Yeah i kno ill probly put in a chip when i get some cash. Right now i got Swap Magic v.3.6. N e ways I used a Vernatim DVD+R and burned it with Alcohol 120%. I was just testing it tho cuz my friend gave me the DVD+R so Ill probly buy better ones. So how do I patch the image before i burn it?

Well, not all games need to be patched, only certain ones. there's a site, www.swapmagicfix.com that devoted to this boot method :rolleyes: :) . They can help you alot more than i can lol. You will have better results with Ritek or Taiyo Yuden media though.
