GTR freeze

the game (ger) 1.3 works but SOMETIMES (50%) the system freeze when i choose a type of competition (es. race weekend, championship....) and i have to restart the system. Has somebody the same problem?

I use this method

Gtr (ger) 1.05 ---patch-->1.3
Starforce nightmare 1.12 disable CD, disable ch2, disable node
Miniimage (on gamecopyworld) mounted with Daemon tools 3.47

I have the same problem with GTR 1.05 (not patched)

PC athlon 2.2, xp sp2, ati radeon 9600 xt, new direct and videocard drivers installed, firewall deactiveted.

I dont know how much memory you have, if 256MB perhaps invest in another 256 stick to help improve performance.

Also defragment your hard drive, perhaps the game files are fragmented badly?

i have 512 mb but the game do the same on my brother's pc (athlon 3000, ram 1g!). I suppose it's a problem concerning the starfoce protection .
When the game doesn't crash i can play it at 100% (and it's beautiful!!)
