well that all depends on your hardware and what its protected with (game). Use clonyxxl or PID ( Protecion Identification ) to find out what copy protection is used on the original game. Once found the protection look it up here to see your chances of a 1.1 (use the search button when you find out the protection). 1.1's are hardware and software dependant. When asking for help post as much info as poss ;)

Ahh the beloved SF3 :(
I not to sure if this SF protection is ever gonna be sorted to be honest. I hope thats not the case but i have a bad feeling concerning this one. I know we have had protections in the past where people have said simela things but SF is unique. Those SF programers sure knew how to throw a spanner in the works :eek:

well, in other foum i saw a user that TOLD this:

SHOWW2 DOESNT use SF3, i used alcohol 120 and i selected dummy files and i got it!!

i dont wanna waste more CDs with this game (about 4 wasted) so i wanna make some surveys to know if this worked for ppl, but the forum were i saw that was closed so i came to this specialized forum

Then use RW's. That way you can test your methods. When you find the way that works then you can change to a DVD-R. ;)

u said it urself, specialised*, it IS sf3 or at least the european version is.
