i just have jusst installed NFS UNDERGROUND 2 but it would launch because of my cd/dvd emulation is there any way around it does anyone know please any help would be great the burning programs i have are dvd shrink and nero. does anyone know ????

Yeah close either daemon tools or/and alcohol 120% (removing the virtual drives also)

or uninstall clonecd :D
you have to use latest alcohol (1.9.2 705 works)or daemon tools.

or simply use a no cd crack to send the emulation detection to the hell

Similar problem was also on SIms 2

or even try this
make a file in notepad

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Elaborate Bytes\CloneCD]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Slysoft\CloneCD]

save as x.reg.....Execute and here u go

I had problems with the cd/dvd emulation error on my NFS Underground 2.
I tried your registry fix for the Clone Cd and it worked.
