Hello people
My backup discs (DVD+R's & CD-R's) will not load on New slim v12 w/matrix infinity chip installed. I get the red screen saying wrong format disc, when trying to load backups. :mad:
im about 99% sure the backups were copied & burned correctly.. I used DVDdecryptor, & memorex DVD+R's & CD-R's but they will not load... but DVD movies i burn on same DVD+R's load up no prob.. also music cd-r's play but the "hddloader" disc will not :confused:
i think the chip is installed correctly cuz i can access the chip settings, disable it, and it says Matrix infinity v1.39 under Playstation2 logo when i boot original games. (im not sure what the chip settings need to be on but they are on default right now) ive even double checked wire connections for chip to make sure everythng is hooked up good :o
if anyone has any ideas or had any problem like this and can give me some help on this modchip, and how they got it working right please help me out...
if you cant help me out then please dont... please dont call me lazy & tell me to search the Faq's, cuz thats all ive been doing for the past week and i still cant load a backup.
ive read the ultimate sticky's info and it is mostly outdated.. 2001-2003.
barely, if any info at all, on v12 ps2's
i cant find anything about my chip on there except for a review.
the chips own website isn't any help whatsoever
and i cant find any other posts with same problem and hardware...
anyhelpful feedback would be nice,
