hello

i just got a new DVD-RW+/- dual layer and some DVD+R DL disks

im trying to back up a full DVD 9 and its not letting me.
i have tried clone DVD , NERO 6.8, dvd shrink and some other proggy and all gave me the same error .....not enough room on the disk, or insert a blank disk.....
the movie is only 7.3 gig so that shouldnt mbe the problem ...... ive never done a DVD 9 yet ......is it same procces as burning a dvd 5???

You should be able to make a direct backup with Nero. I got Nero 6.6.0.8 and a LG burner. So far no problems.
Also try dvd decrypter.

Yeah I think he tried to backup a disc straight from original DVD9 without removing the macrovision protection first :P

i'm about to enter the realms of dual layer backups
using the pioneer writer. my software is reord now max v4.5

will this rite to dual layer or can anyone asvise me of the recommended software that does
