Hi all!i am having a problem with my controllers on my modded ps2.I made backups of my two fav. games Def jam and fight Club.the problem is that my ps2 cant recognize my controllers!
Any ideas?

sounds like the controller port ribbon is not on the motherboard properly, either that or it was damaged during the modding process.

There are also 101 other possibles but those are most likely.

Do you get an analogue light on when you plug em in?

well, i have a sony analog controller and another one which i dont know what brand it is! When i plug the second one, the game tells me to plug a controller in the P1 port. When i insert the sony analog,it gets jammed and the buttons wont work! the light is always on,and cant be turned off!

I really dont know what to do? Is this a problem from my PS2 or the controllers?

Like I said. As both controllers don't work it isn't the controllers. It's the PS2. You need to open it up or get someone to open it up and check that the ribbon cable between the ps2 motherboard and the controller block is fitted correctly

Is this since you've had it modded. If you don't know what your doing inside a ps2 and it's since you've had it modded then send it back to the person who modded it

Otherwise PM me and I'll talk you through it

well i had my ps2 modded two years ago!So i dont thing that it has something to do with that!
Games that used to play fine,now cant recognize the Sony Analog controller!
So,how do i open the ps2?

Do you get an analogue light on when you plug em in?

My controllers recently stopped working, and when i put the cable back in, all that i can do is turn the anologue light on and off, but it still wont recognise my controllers or anything!!

PLEASE HELP! :(
