Is there a way to create a miniimage of a Securom 5 protected DVD. One example would be 'Act Of War'. I just bought it and because I can't create a 1:1 copy of it (it's a DVD-9 and I own only a DVD-5-burner), I'd like to know if creating a miniimage is possible.
Someone posted a way to make a copy of it by deleting some unnecessary files but I was also wondering if it's possible to make a min-image for securerom v5 games.
1. Mini-images don't work for SecuRom protection
2. here is the thread about the DVD9toDVD5 conversion: http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=69076

Thanks very much. The DVD-9 to DVD-5 guide really worked! Unfortunately I still can't play the game without my original DVD. Well, I guess I'll have to wait a bit :D .

Did you use the no-cd? My installation works with the no-cd.
There is a patch. He probably has it.

Thanks for the very quick replies but F2A is right, I already installed Patch 1.03 (or Patch 1b as it's called someplace). For this version a crack isn't available yet as far as I know.
