Starwars: battlefront 1.2 german no cd

Hey there,

does anyone know about / have a working Battlefront no-cd crack for the german version? The one for the english version doesn't work (sometimes they do for other games which is why I tested it at all)?

Same problem with me. Battlefront, 1.2 Patch, english crack not working. Btw, what is the game checking that it doesn't start? Could a laguage fix do something about it?

It works (with a little trick)

If you rename the two directories, that are language specific, the No-CD for Version 1.11 from Barry (as found on GCW) works perfect.

Look here:

\GameData\Data\_LVL_PC\Shell\
\GameData\Data\_LVL_PC\Common\

Both of the above folders contain a subdirectory named "Ger", if you have the german version of the game. Just rename those subdirs to "Eng" and start the game with the formerly mentioned crack.

Menu strings are english, but all voices are in german.
Those things seem to be hardcoded into the "Battlefront.exe" file.

I tried it with Singleplayer and Multiplayer (valid CD-key needed). Both worked with no problem. "

All right....it works that way, also with the 1.2 version. As it said, texts are in English then, but every German who's learned a bit should understand...typical computer Enligsh, however sounds are in German.

I have the spanish version of Battlefront 1.2. I can't find any NoCD for this version.

· Can work this "cheat" with the spanish version?
· Do you know when will it comes out?

Should work with the Spanish version as well. Just that folders are probably called "Esp" or something...
