Hi, I'm fairly new to all this game stuff, and I thought I would try it out. So, I'm not sure if the following is against the rules. If it is, I apologize. :(

I'm having a problem with the crack for KOTOR II. It says to replace the original file swkotor2.exe with the crack, and I do that. But from there I can see the screen with game, config, register, etc, but whenever I go to click on the game, the screen blacks out and I can see the green mouse, but then two seconds later it freezes up and returns to the desktop. :confused:

Also, I checked the reqs, and I have met the all reqs, but not the "recommended" rec (which is some other video card I assume) for video. Is that possible factor?

I'm sorry for the newbish questions, my friends play all the time, and I'm just curious and trying this out. :o

Help would be lovely. Thank you! :)

Is the game running ok, when you use your original cd without a crack?
Do you have the original cd, or does one of your friend have it?

Um... I'm using Daemon tools. :) ;;;

the fact u're using daemon tools suggests that u may not, in fact, own the original game....

would I be correct in this assumption??(apologies if I am wrong)

At least here the people get banned, unlike MG who you try to help and they screw you around.

So big well done to mods here ;)

If it is original game, your GFX card may not have the required hardware to play the game, there is no way around it you HAVE to buy a decent GFX card.

GFX card? Um... :rolleyes: my computer is fairly new (I bought it in Jan), it says the card I have is: Intel (R) 82915G/GV/910 GL Express Chipset Family 128MB.
Could that be the factor?
