View Full Version : Can anyone help with original Unreal Tournament

Just acquired an old laptop still addicted to Unreal Tournament but its got an external CD drive which is a pain to stick in the CD when anywhere but home!
Cant find a Crack that works anywhere can anyone help?

Which Unreal Tournament are you talking about? The original one? If so there should be plenty of cracks on GameCopyWorld! ;)

It is the original I’m after but there is nothing their though just links to the latest patch and a walkthrough! I’ve looked on other sites as well but mostly dead links or nothing. Cheers though.

I would install the latest patch but I don’t have it on CD and no network, net or anything to get it through! Thanks for the help though.

Yes 'Trismogestos' is correct! As it turns out I dont have a NoCD exe only the updates! And as I used to play it without the CD he must be right in saying it is the update which allows you to do this. I havent played it for a long time as i now play UT2004 and I guess the original is just like 2004 when it comes to playing without a CD. So I can send you the update but you would probably be better off downloading it from the Unreal site! ;)

Not on the laptop but i realised it has a USB so gonna borrow a mates USB stick to copy the stuff over. :o

Cool, at least you have a way to get it to work using the USB stick. And you should give UT2004 a go, its heaps better than the original, obviously it uses more resources! But the original is a lot of fun still, my boys and I used to play it quite a bit a couple of years ago. ;)

It’s good but my laptops like 500 MHz and 128 Mb ram so would die if it tried to run 2004! Besides the original is almost always the best :D

Yes I agree but not in the case with UT2004! Unreal Tournament was a top game in its day but honestly its no comparison to 2004. But yes it does use up the hardware resources! ;)
