Where to find info for hacking psx games?

I got two versions of the same game (Japanese and American), and I want to switch the movie and voice files in the american verion with the Japanese version. But still keep the english text. I'm just asking where to find info on doing this. thanks

I assume you could do it around the same way you would do a ps2 dvdrip or how you would do a ps2 dvd rebuild.
