Help ! A 4.6Gb VCD

Hi

First of all, I know that this is a dvd forum but I don't know where else to turn to..

I just bough an [original]VCD from Thailand and want to make a back up..

In "MY computer" it show that the CD is only 6.5mb big.
Once I "Explore" the CD and see the properties of all the file.. they are 4.6Gb total
The movie file ( .DAT) itself is 2.4Gb large

I figure the creater of the CD somehow able to change the display file size of the files and of the CD ...

Do you guy know any program that allow one to change properties of a file?
I found some shareware on the Internet but none can change file SIZE

I haven't try to use CloneCD on it yet because somehow the program(clonecd) shut down itself right after I run it.

And now come the amazing thing.. I just found out that every time I try to run any program wiht name "clonecd" even as a parf of the name( ex:xxxclonecdxxx) while the CD is in the drive that program will shut down itself!!!! I can't even open clonecd webpage!!
Even if I already have the program open before I insert the CD they all will be close after I put the CD in.
I tried this with 4 text files, clonecd.txt, clonexx.txt, xxxclonecdxxx.txt,a nd cloxxnecd.txt The first 3 files close down after CD was insert..

Some protection huh!

Any idea how to counter this?

ps. After further research about it.... this VCD actually install a Malware in your cumputer which also close any program wiht the word "Spy" and "clonecd" in its name

u tried a 800mb cd-r?

well use alcohol 120% to copy it.if the dat is 2.4 Gb then it's a dvd.use clonedvd

oh well about malmware....is it an official release???maybe it's part of protection

Hmmm! An original from Thailand! Are you sure? Its probably a very well done copy but riddled with spyware, ads and even virus's!!

It is a VCD..
and it's Original Thai movie
It is part of the protection from the company that sell the VCD....
the Malware install it self and will close any program wiht the words "clonecd" and "spy"
I read a 256 messages long forum full of angry message abut it ^_^

Thailand has "officially" gave you a virus.
Throw the thing out
and clean up your machine

whatever it is
it can't be worth this...............
