Hi,

How do I apply the patches needed for certain games for HD Loader.
I got the files right here on the forum. It was a zip file containing ppf file. No instruction was included. What program do I need to use? I want to avoid using Winhiip or HDLDumb because I can't connect my PS2 HDD to PC. I want to create a backup disc with patch applied if possible.
Also, if I create a disc after applying the patch, would it run exactly the same way as a backup created without applying the patch? That is with exception of working properly off the HDL.

Thanks

Get PPF-O-Matic v3. Make an ISO with DVDDecrypter. Use ppf-o-matic v3 to apply the ppf to the iso then burn. Easy as that.

Great. Thank you.
Just one more question, which was not answered before:
if I create a disc after applying the patch, would it run exactly the same way as a backup created without applying the patch? That is with exception of working properly off the HDL.
Again, thank you

Im not 100% sure about the games playing fine after being patched while playing off the disc. But, I know of the few games that I have, none of the patches Ive used have had ill effects.

Thank you again.
Just one more thing.
The game I'm trying to patch is Tenchu Fatal Shadows. There are 2 patchs. You said to try one and if it doesn't work try the other.
I've applied the first patch, and it looked like it altered the iso file, rather than creating a new one. If it doesn't work, do I have to apply the second patch to an unpatched iso or can I apply the second patch on top of the patched iso?
Lastly, what kind of symptom would I run into if it doesn't work? Would I get a black screen?

Thanks

If it doesn't work, do I have to apply the second patch to an unpatched iso or can I apply the second patch on top of the patched iso?

If it doesnt work, then I personally would apply the other patch to a clean unpatched ISO.
