Welcome.
I have bought an original Colin McRae Rally 2005 on 5 cds.
And i have error on startup of game.
Error is names Protection Error. I know how to play game.
I must start game with novideo parameter.

But i dont have than any video in game :( :(
How i can play the game with video and everything good :?
I dont know how :(

Ps. I have a newest graphic drivers, newest directX, and everything.
I dont have any emulating programs like Colne or Alcohol running.
And i have reinstalled the game many times.
Just tell me how to play game with viedo and without novideo parameter.

Hi Patricko,

It seems there's some problem with the codec that plays the videos. Can you quote more from that "Protection Error" dialog box?
