What does anyone know about the Neo Keys and is there any risk of damaging the ps2


also what about PS2 NEO2.2 Pro ModChip, are they hard to install and are they effective?

The Neo line of chips burn out your laser. Something about sending too much power to your laser. They have caps but thats not exactly a solution.

Is there any reason your bringing up these very old style mod solutions?

even the modchip version of the neos will burn out the laser?

Dude, a Duo2 SE is £15. It is a new, very safe solution, and if you're good at soldering, you can fit them very, very easily. If you can't solder on a small scale (and we are talking SMALL), don't bother trying, and get someone else to do it for you.

The Neo might cost about £2, but they're sh*te - I can't believe you can still buy them :eek: - and yes, the NeoAsics all burn out your laser...

These chips are the worst you can purchase for the PS2. The Neokey is a neo2,2 wired to a USB plug and yes both will burn up the laser. You may not want to hear that there garbage but thats what they are by todays standard. By the time you purchase this chip along with a set of Swap magic disc you could get a duo2 se. Version 7's are hard to find anymore. It would be sad to screw it up.
