HD advance 2.0 wont work - help!

finally got my HD advance 2.0 (couldn't find hdloader anywheres) today. I have a brand new oem Maxtor 60y80po (or whatever) 80gb drive. I put in the disc, it asks to format my drive (went OK), then i pop in a legally owned disc (it converts fine), and then i run it i think ---then the screen goes black.

i reboot HD advance, the game is not listed, it says i have 74gb free, however, when i pop in any other game to convert, it says to free up more space on my drive and it wont convert.

THERE IS NOTHING ON MY DRIVE!!

is my drive toast, or is there a way i can reformat it!?!?

Make sure your drive is set as a Master and format with the DMS Format tool...

i checked the master setting. call me a noob but where can i get DMS?

ok i found the software. call me a noob but do i just burn the files to a disc and load it up?

i dont want to screw it up anymore than it is
