how does the Socom2 patch work? where do i put that to? HD?

Make an ISO of your original. Patch it with the HDD FIX patch. Then either burn it to a dvdr and load using hdloader or use winhiip or another pc-2-ps2hdd transfer program to load it to your ps2 hdd.

Actually Im not sure on that one. I dont have Socom 2 so I havent tried it.

To play Socom 2 off the hdd using HDLoader.

i have a non-sony HD, its a Seagate. I got it to work with HDLoader. When i run the PS2 demo disc with the Socom2 maps, i get 'HD failed to initialize'. and it i tried to save a dvd-r game to the HD i get bad game. an original game will save fine on the HD.
