suggestions of the best DVD's to buy for backing up dvd movies... any ideas?

you will get better results if u use 4x discs when backing up ur dvds :D

is everyone 1 like me struggling to back up res evil 2 any ideas?tried everything poss.aaaaaahhhhhhhh :confused:

cracked it backed up res evil2 using dvd43 & dvdxcopy plat.had to change writers first tho. was using sony 710 changed to artec16x dL burned first go did try same procedure with sony burner but unable to burn must be sonys new arccoss protection on dvds clashing with hardware hope this will help others with same prob. :D :D :D :D

We already fixed that problem as soon as the dvd was released. If only you would have searched.

To be perfectly honest I usually reserve my cheapie DVD-r media for backing up movies. I have found that almost any brand records with good quality. Burn speed to low and you should be ok. But regardless of the media you use, stay away from Memorex brand for ALL of your backing up needs.

XBOX what brand?
pc games what brand?

i have used a view and was wondering what i use

also for each whether i should use + or - dvd's

Did you try searching the forum to get answers. I swear there are 100 threads that answer your questions.

I use TY DVD-R for all of the above. Never failed me yet. Stay away from the +R's as a lot of the cheaper DVD players will not read them.
