Hi Every1 Need some help

i backed up my doom3 so me and my wife can play together and everything installed right but when i try to run it on her comp it says PLease Insert Doom 3 disk 1 when the backed up disk1 is already in there.....anybody ahve any info on this? someone said something about i might need to replace the exe...but i dont know much bout backing up...first game ive tried to backup so far

Doom3 is protected with Safedisc3 (a copy protection). So allthough you managed to copy it, the game recognizes your backup is not an original and refuses to run. Go to gamecopyworld.com and get a no-cd or fixed exe. Or you may use a mini image...... If you don't know anything about fixed exes, nocds or mini images please use the search button of this forum as you will find all answers you need.
