First off I’d like to say thank you to all the people willing to give information in this forum sometimes the simplest things are overlooked and I for one appreciate the patience and help that’s given by the more advanced users. The desire to read and learn how to do things is a challenge and I think very rewarding.

THANKS AGAIN

(Format.....: CD-Erwin)

I am not certain is this a program that is still available?
My problem is that I have to burn a game that has the audio files separated from the iso or image file. I am not sure why I‘ve tried using cdrwin then discjuggler I also have nero but I can never get those settings right. Can someone explain how to burn this to a back-up. I have a little understanding but I am a newbie to DC backups.

I do have a Cuesheet/Tracks file, SFV file if this helps me I don't know how to cue this file.

Just open cue file in Nero 5.X not 6.X (in your ver doesnt have cue support u must download plugin from official site) or Alcohol 120% and burn using:
- in nero (best ver. is 5.5.9.X or 5.5.10.X) - DAO96 or DAO, 8X
- in Alcohol 120% DAO-SAO 8X

Thats all

Thanks for your help

There is no cue I thought there was

Can you please help me figure out what to do?

Ok so there is no cue file I thought it sounded wrong. here is what i have 1 iso file and 15 mp3 audio tracks. any sugestions??? I have tried 4 times to burn it as iso. in disjuggler and it doesn't work.

Here is a guide for it but i cannot find mp3 support on any of my options. I think there is a way I can create another image for discjuggler but I can only hope someone will help me do this an easier way

How it works:
- Extract the all the archives to any dir (e.g. F:\Sno)
- Open the newest CD-Erwin (with MP3 support), chosse
"Load Cuesheet/Tracks"
---> Load Tracks
Browse to your SnoCross dir (e.g. F:\Sno) and select all
the audio tracks (TRACK01 - TRACK15).
- Make sure that you have checked the "open new session"
button in the lower left corner and click start to re-
cord the CDDA.
- Now burn the data track (sno.iso) to the disc:
Fire up CDR-Erwin
Click the 2nd icon from the top left "File Backup & Tools"
For Backup Tool/Operation select: "Record an ISO9660 Image"
For image filename choose sno.iso in your Sno dir
(e.g. F:\Sno).
Check the following options:
Disc type: CDROM-XA Track Mode: MODE2
Speed: What u want Close Session: YES
Write Postgap: YES Open new session: NO
Click start button to burn

I take it this is an older guide i have all the latest burning software so whichever is easiest would be great.

Search all archive (all parts) - there must be a cue file - MUST BE !!!

If really You dont have cue make a file in notepad like this:

FILE "YOUR_IMAGE.BIN" BINARY
TRACK XX MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

FILE "TRACK_13.MP3" AUDIO
TRACK XX AUDIO
INDEX 01 00:00:00

Just load the cue in CDRWin. You can get it from www.goldenhawk.com - but these guys are seriously out of touch, they charge a lot of money for this very basic and out of date software, and use rather dreadful measures to protect it from piracy.

If you aren't using CDRWin there is a lot else that can burn bin/cue, like Alcohol 120%. Bear in mind that bin/cue games require a boot disc.

Yes thats right.... and - davidrose9 - dont patch anything using megalexxx tolls because Sno Cross ( :) ) is a wince type of game.

well, if you really want to get this Genius SnoCross release working on your DC, you'll have to stick to the instructions you've just posted and use CDRWin to burn the game.

Just get some CDRWin demo version and you'll be able to burn it just fine. (at 1x, but well you'll save a lot of coasters)

The game is selfboot so just stick to the guide, install a cdrwin demo, burn, and then uninstall it. ;)

good luck
