Hi Dakotakid44,

It could've been expected that the application, that you're trying to use - in vain -, installs mss32.dll, along with itself... So, first, you might want to complain at the company that created that application about their stupidity.

"mss" is the abbreviation of "Miles Sound System", a generalized sound API that has been created back in the DOS days. You can read more about it and download related stuff at http://www.radgametools.com/miles.htm . Good luck,

Joe

Can you get the game working without the patch and nocd/crack?
What happens when you install the patch *without* the using the nocd/crack?

the game works fine without the patch. This just happens when I replace the exe. file.

Hi Dakotakid44,

Uhm, for a change, you might wanna include the _exact message_ here. I'm suspecting now that you're getting an error message related to some problem with MSS32.DLL, not a message telling you that this DLL is missing. Right?!
