All m games are crashing!!

:eek: OK here is the scoop, I have upgraded a computer(HP) I have tried ever OS and I still crash back to desktop after a few minutes of Online&Offline Play, except with WINXP PRO....which just reboots the computer :mad: .Im not playin Doom 3 here either just BF1942 and ET.I have an old Pavilion 8765C,
AMD 900mghz Athlon
2X256 kingston pc100-pc133 Ram
GeForce2 GTS 32mb
I know i just need a new computer, but im not posting to hear that,
i just would appreciate any Ideas Thank You. StratusMatt

Maybe your power supply wattage is too low. Maybe the pc is getting too hot. I have a 450 watt power supply AND I leave the case off of the pc and have a high volume low speed fan drawing air up out of the pc.

yeah i had the same problems.or the power supply but in most cases it's the cpu.try puting a silicon.(don't know if it's special).here it says: Dow corning ms4 silicone compound.remove the fan and apply on the core of cpu

Well both are possable, for i have found out that i only have a 185Watt power supply and a mini HP tower. I ordered the above tower at newegg seemed like a great deal.

Ok the Mobo or processor musta been the prob, I got my case-400 watt power supply-A nForce 3 mobo-AMD Athlon64 2800+-a stick of 512 PC3200 ram-and went ahead and up'ed the Geforce2 to a GeForce fx 5200 256- You wouldnt beleive how much bet im runnin now :p
