New PS2 with Mod Chip

Hello to everyone. I just received in the mail, a PS2 from a guy that had a chip put in. It says on the PS2, that it has an Ultra 2 Mod installed from Precision Mods.

Problem: It will not play any of my backups?

Anyone know anything about this?

Hey....thanks for that. Anway, let me be a little more specific. It loaded my Nascar 2005 backup all the way to the title screen, then froze. This tells me that it does in fact have a chip installed. I got a CD Jap Import Version of Tekken 4 from this guy, that he left in the PS2, and that loaded ok. But, all of the DVD backups I have tested, work, with my swap disk, but not this chip.

If you do manage to get your money back. Get a used ps2 deck v7 model# scph-39001. A decent chip. And have spedmetal install the chip. :D If you take the time to do all this you won't be disappointed. :D
