Question about safedisc.
I’m new at this and I’ve been poking around. I made a copy of a game and it won’t work. It uses safedisc as a protection against copying it. I see these game key generators that can be downloaded. How and what should I do? Download onto pc or cd? Will this make the copy usable?

A few good programs that may help you out are ClonyXXL copy protection detector. And Alcohol 120% Burning software. These are 2 programs that I use to sucessfully back up my games.
ClonyXXL can be found here...

Sounds to me like you may not be using the proper software for making backups of your games. Plus read the forums. A lot of great info here.

Well Clonyxxl is totally useless as it does not detect any of the newer protections released over last couple of years.
A-Ray Scanner or Protection-id are the utilities to use.

If you can't get the game to work, keygens are no good anyway...besides, you don't need them cuz you got your own cd-key....right, partner?
yeah :p
well either you haven't got the right software or your cd-r/dvd can't buckup safedisc so it can play without crack.plus keygen talk is illegal.... ;)
