trying to patch a ps2 nero img file w/ winDIP 1.7. scan img file->verify ver.->add id code from disc util.->patch.
3x no success,
--mk deception-hangs on connecting screen.(if i try to "edit" network settings, it goes to red screen please insert ps2 disc)
--madden 2005, dnas error , try to edit network and same red screen
--thug, dnas error 402, but i can edit network settings.---------------------------
from winDIP:
'DNAS300.IMG;1' is PATCHED, it matches patch (300).
'IOPRP300.IMG;1' is being scanned... No match found.
'IOPRP280.IMG;1' is being scanned... No match found.

this is normal?
also do i use ps1 or ps2 orig for disc id?(ive tried both)

PS2 Original. You need the Disc ID.

See if there's any differences in what you're doing at the page:

EDIT: Try using Alcohol, DVD Decrypter or RecordNow to make the image file too. :)

If that doesn't work - it could very well be your modchip. What mod do you use by the way?

EDIT: Just noticed it's an Apple Pro (signature). That may very well be detected by the DNAS servers, hence the hanging and red screens when connecting.

no red screen when connecting, it did not connect so it takes ya back to retry or edit settings screen. i CAN retry, but if i select edit it goes to the red screen. that gotta be part of the prob, if the disc is good it would go to the edit network settings screen, but it doesnt, it goes to the red screen
