?? W/ Flashfxp

i FINALLY conncted w/ execftp/flashfxp, i can see te ps2 hdd but every time i try to xfer a file to ps2 hd, i get disconnected. any1 know why? also when xferring games, use the game.iso, or do i need to rename to a difft extension (elf)?

SO i renamed it PP.HDL.EXECFPT.ISO cuz i noticed they all start w/ that, it didnt fail immediately like b4 it failed after 1-2 minutes AND disconnected. now the only way itll reconnect is if i reset the ps2. and doesnt the prog show the status of the xfer??

Man you have this stuff all wrong, but at least your trying. The PP.HDL stuff are HDL partitions and has nothing to do with the name of your file.

Why are you trying to install execftps to the HDD? I have never tried that but you could probably just use HDL to install execftps to the HDD.

why am i trying to install exec....to the hdd? cuz i need to run that to connect w/ flashfxp, right? and im lazy and i wanna just keep the hdloader disc in the ps2 and not have to change(to the exec...disc)so i fig id just run it from the hd. but flashfxp dont let me xfer anyway(orig post) so the hell w/ it. dumb073 seems to work ok, so ill stick w/ that i guess since i dont need access to the mem card(yet)-----and can the .gi extentions xfer the the hd or do they need to be strict iso?
