Madden NFL 2005 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed Image - not working. Help?

I've tried loading it with both the latest Alcohol 120 as well as daemon tools, but both just had the game saying to insert the correct cd (it was the "insert correct cd and restart application" dialog, not the "please insert madden 2005 cd1 and press ok" dialog, if that makes a difference).

i think you need to replace the original file with a no cd .exe file. do a simple search on google.

That all but defeats the purpose of the mini-image. I'm not really sure what is going wrong, either it doesn't work at all or I'm doing something wrong. Maybe I should reinstall the game?
