I'm thinking of buying an exteral modchip for my PS2 and would like to know if anyone has any sugestions on good backup software.
Like I was thinking of maybe something that I could make a menu for my
Jak1,Jak2 and Jak3 games or something that might merge my Final Fantasy7
4disc's into maybe only 1 or 2disc's.
Any help would be great!

Take a good hard look into the Ultimate Info Sticky. When your done there most of your questions will be answered.
BTW the color thing is kinda interesting. Dont go too far by using all caps though.
Tyler!
External mod? Don't do it. You'll still have to solder and you can't play DVD Backups (and you have to swap).
Get a Duo2 - they're cheap and do an excellent job. :)

I can buy them online in Canada its just that I called computer and game stores all over Ottawa but theres no stores that will install them
ROTF, I think there just messing with your head. Most Computer stores dont install modchips and are ignorant. Check out www.foundmy.com. BTW, take TD's advise and read the Ultimate info Sticky. You will learn alot from it
Try modchipworld.com. They do installations for you, and I believe they are in Ottawa. Supposedly, they are pretty good based on the reviews on their site. but some of the information I got from them were BS. So, use them at your own risk. I hope this helped.
