v9,10 vs. v12

Hi,

1. If I were to buy a new PS2, should I go for v9,10, or v12? The issues with v12 are that it doesn't support HDD. Also, I heard some issues about v12's lens burning out with a mod chip. Any opinions?

2. On a Japanese v12, does it come with modem ports? I know US v12 comes with one

3. In North America, is the only way to get Official Sony HDD to buy FF11?

1. Get a v9 because the v12 has many problems

2. yes the japanese v12 comes with ethernet ports

3. y would u wanna get an offical sony hdd get a 3rd party hdd with hdloader.(make sure u check a compatibility list or you will have to mod ur network adaptor) .

Personally, I wouldn't get either a V9,10 or 12...

v10 better. well i prefer them i wish i can get a decent one! my ps2 sucks it dont work!

I got 2 v10s modded with infinitys and Romeo mod. both work perfect. If you cant get a v7 look for anything above a v4.
