i just oposted this at ps2-scene.org thought everyone here might like to hear it also

Copy all the game files to your hard drive

then look for any dummy files and replace them with blanks if there are any. open the file with a hex editor to tell if its a dummy file, usually maked dummy.dat

then open isobuster and open the drive with the dvd then right click on the iso name and save the tree info LBA, relative path and save the txt file to where the game files are stored.

open CDGenPS2 and hit advanced > import tree info from iosbuster file

then select LBA (No fix) and hit ok

all the game files will be in the project in the right order.

like the IMG button and save it as an ISO file then after the image is made send it to the hd using winhiip or hdl_dump

here is a list of some game i have shrunk

DBZ Budokai 2 (4GB -> 750MB)

DBZ Budokai 3 (4GB -> 1GB)

Blood Omen 2 (4GB -> 2GB)

Devil May Cry (4GB -> 2GB)

Star Wars Battle Front (4GB -> 2GB)

to find out how much you can shrink the game open it in windows explorer, select all the files then hit properties it will show you the size of the game files rather than the size of the disc

EDIT: This does NOT work on DVD9 games windows explorer and isobuster can only see the first layer. Files and tree info will not be copied, even with an image

not all games can be shrunk like fight club, but that game is only 1.5GB anyway
