Im looking for a working v7 ps2, doesnt have to be chipped but doesnt matter if it is i jus want to buy 1 for new chip, must be from uk!!!!!!!!!!!!! please state model number, weather its chipped and where in uk u are! thanks very much, I am starting this topic as i cannot for the love of pete find a version 7 ps2 on ebay from the uk and one that is a v7,and yes....i have tried ebay.co.uk! please reply soon!

youll be lucky !!!!!! most people with v7s arnt gonna sell you it from here coz we all know they rule the roost .... as i said before , keep lookin on ebay n in freeads ect you WILL find one ,, first rule on v7 spotting is never rush your prey ,,,,, CHILL OUT n use the force Luke. :eek: :D

Look @ ur mates consoles and see which is a V7 and ask for a swap :D lol or just buy theirs.

Can I ask why v7's are the Dog's :confused:
Please advise it's only that these machines have better laser ,
If you have an older version PS2 and put a new laser in would this not make it work are good as a v7 ?

Erm It can do ive been told a 400c laser works in v4 consoles. But requires a fix. ive seen tones of v7s on ebay atm.
I've bought sonsoles from this guy in the past, and they've been utterly superb! Great seller and great PS2s.

it says he is selling this item as poss-faulty does that mean it could be faulty? if so whats wrong with it?
I think it means it could have once been hance the warranty stickers being missing - however, he has tested it...

yeah so what happens if i buy a v7 ps2 of ebay and its already been modded i cant get it modded again can i ? , coz then i have payed for a pile of spaires really coz i want my own choice of chip n stuff so....... any help will be appreciated and what about the new ps2 slimlines what are they like for getting chipped?
Of course you can remod. All that needs doing is the points desoldering before the new install.
P.S. Get those dirrrrty V12 thoughts outta your head :p ;)

remoding is easy enuf. Slim lines arnt that great but ive had no returns. I prefer the bigger consoles myself. I didnt ask for a 39003 they just gave me 1. hehe its cool :) Ive seen alot of v7's on ebay going for pennys ive seen 1 for 65 pounds 2 games new cables. so compton if you want that 1 plus a mod i can do it pritty cheap.

awwww :mad: :mad: my mum is being mean and saying im not aloud to bid for one on ebay because its "dodgey" and nothing anyone can say will ever change her mind so does anyone no of a way i can get hold of a v7 to get it chipped! :confused: she thinks its as easy as going into a shop and saying hi can i buy a version 7 playstation 2 console please!

Been looking for a v7 on Ebay etc :confused:
Just one thing I see you can get 2 versions SCPH39003 v7 & v8 . The only way to tell what modal you have is to open it up your PS2
SCPH39003 v7 (Bios 080 )
SCPH39003 v8 (Bios 090 )
So not going to be that easy to get hold a v7 on Ebay :eek:
