I have made a backup of Fifa 2005 using Nero 6 and it copied with no problems (read and written at the slowest selectable speed). The whole game - quick play, career, tournament, extras (jukebox etc...) all work perfectly except create a player, which says loading the adds a few dots (loading......) and then sits there the music stops playing and thats it have to reset the ps2. Is this a common thing or worth recopying the game - the original disc uses this feature perfectly

ok will do
I'm using Bulkpaq orange 4x dvd-r on NEC dvd+/-rw drive
I have backed up other EA Sports games such as Tiger Woods 2003 with no problems
I have some cheap (very cheap) dvd+r PCLINE discs, might give those a go as Tiger Woods worked with those as well

I redid it with dvd decrypter and it had the same problem, but I did notice it had
read errors 0 (1 retry) at 97% of reading the iso so this could be it, but it says it managed to re-read it ok - and create-a-player works on the original disc.
