NBA LIVE 2005 Disk ID

Hey guys, I have my origional NBA LIVE DVD here, when I put it into my ps2 after the disk id utility, the disk id only gives me 00 00 00 00 00.

Any idea why? Its the origional disk, is there an updated disk id utility fornewr games?

Have you tried hitting X when you insert your original disc?
