Well i got my hands on the JAP version of GT4..and i have to say it's a worth the wait (i'll even get the local release when it comes out...so i can play in english)...and yes it's DVD9


now i would like to put this game on my hard drive on the ps2...what programs do i need to copy this game on the hard drive..since HDLoader can't copy dvd9 games

I was thinking of picking it up at my local store while I was home, but for $80.... that's alright. Anyway I'm ordering my PSP tomorrow, so that should hold me until the US release :D

Well i got the JAP version as a birthday present from a friend that went to Japan (apperently it's all sold out)...the US version doesn't come until the 1st of Feburary and that UK/EUR/AUS version doesn't come until the 2nd of March...

i've got a my fix for the moment....well i still going to buy the AUS version

Where did you hear this? SCEA says March 2005 for US.

I've read a few posts on there but it doesn't seem that they are flattening the layers like they did with other DVD9 games. All they're saying with every release "it doesn't work".
