The old version would play GTA:SA so i'm assuming the new one will to.. As far as I know the new version supports more games (doubt it supports all)
The only thing that makes this capable is the fact that the makers built in a multi boot feature.. not sure how it works.
I suggest google to find answers since its not a very popular product here.

has anyone used this product ? please post if you have and give me the info on it and if you have had any problems with this.
You should talk your friend into buying a modchip. The Swap magic is a waste of money.

thats what i think but hes kinda of a pansy when it comes to modding. he thinks it will wreck it. even though there are so many mod chips fitted with out problems and so many good modders around .
If it's done by a professional, there's no chance of the PS2 being wrecked. Todays mods are very safe for the console, there's no doubt about that. I'd send him to this forum to take a look at the UIS - he'll learn a lot there, and it might make him come round from wanting to waste his money on a heap of sh*t like Swap Magic discs.

ive tried that he still dosent trust them . i dont no if he dosent like the modchis or if it is that he dosent want someone else handling his ps2. i got a matrix infinity and hes seen that but still dosent want a mod.
If he doesn't want to be helped then, don't trouble yourself. If he's hell bent on getting a Sh*tMagic 3.3 disc, let him. He might think it's great for the first week, but then he'll start to regret his choice. Eventually, and IMHO it won't take long, he'll start to wish he had modded and he'll also see that those Sh*tMagic discs are the biggest pile of crap ever thought of. It's the long, expensive way around, but it'll work, lol ;)
It amazes me the people that has a problem with modchips but have no problem craming a card under the tray to eject it. Its just plain dumb.
