call of duty: united offensive

I have installed fine the first call of duty and now i wanto to install the united offensive expansion....buat when i click on the setup and i push on install a little windows appear whit an icon and no script or other, i must click on the ok and this windows closed and nothig happens....how can i install the expansion please help me.....

make sure u're installing off the original disks

try patching CoD upto 1.5 and then trying again

make sure u aint using illegally obtained downloaded versions of the game, otherwise u'll BURN IN HELLL!!!!!!!(*may not be true)
