First I thought it was my TV, Since then I’ve seen it on a couple more TV’s and all look way too dark. I’ve got the brightness to the max in the game settings and I have to crank my TV settings to be able to play half decent then when I try watching something else I have to re-adjust my TV set!
Surely I can’t be the only person annoyed by this? WTF were rockstar playtesters using for displays!!!!???
Gameshark should be able to make a code to double the brightness or something. Everyone bothered by this should write to Gameshark and ask for a code, and write to rockstar and demand a code!!
I find absolutely no problem with it on my V7 console. Tried on numerous TV sets and it's fine....

Well, I’m happy for ya but I spend half my time trying to see the icons and blips on the map!

Buy a new TV buddy.. buy me one while you're at it. I can only see a problem with your tv.. Try a different set and see if you get the same result..
And don't forget my tv.

And don't forget my tv.
Lmao neipas your a joker man! :p :D
My TV is only about 2 years old so I wouldn't expect something like this - however the living room one is REALLY dark - it needs the tube lifting. Then again, we want a Plasma Screen, so...

its fine on all 3 of my tvs but my neibour goes to play san andreas on his ps2 and the colour goes all messed up its either really dark and kinda red or then it may go blue. Or he will have to set it to black and white. He uses a s video cable. but on his other tv it works perfect maybe its just our tv sets.

I have noticed that the picture gets pretty dark when the game is around dawn or dusk usually, (when the sun is behind the character) facial expressions, etc can be particularly hard to make out.
I have no problem with the map or anything else

The first TV we played it on, we could not even find a blip for the first mission. This is a 25’ RCA that can’t be adjusted, the remote is gone and the panel is crazy glued shut due to a 3 year old who like to mess with buttons. All other games look fine on this set. Only when I hooked the game to my living room TV, and after cranking the brightness did I find the dark blue blip on the first mission. Then I was at my cousins house who has a 60” HDTV and the review on TechTV or some channel was on his dish and guess what, dark as night, we could barely make out what was being reviewed!!
I can play it in my living room all right, but I don’t like having to adjust the set every time. The bottom line is that they should have made the in game brightness control more affective.
