Hi there,

I'm trying around with that ****ty little simulation "Erotic Empire". Neither Alcohol 120% nor Nero 6 can't make a working ISO.

The strange thing (for me) is: Alc says the CD uses 680 MB, but shows up only one session/track with 364 kb, the image created afterwards got the same small size, thus not usable :(
Nero creates a 680 MB image file, but it can't be read by UltraISO and can't be used in a virtual drive.

I never came across such a "copy protection"...this can't be, right? I mean, the game is only €20 in stores.

By the way, I can't find a NoCD anywhere. Is this game too ****ty or just a pain in the ass to be cracked? ;)

Well, my wife bought and plays it. Maybe someone could give me a hint...

Are you trying to create an ISO-Image, or a NRG-Image?
I have problems creating ISO-Images with the newest (6.6.0.3) version of NERO BURNING ROM.
Try out to create a NRG-Image and mount/open it with VirtualDrive/UltroISO.

I tried the Nero image format, NRG. And like I said, it didn't work

Strange behavior...only thing I can say is "Tolle Wurst".

Have you scanned the disc with protection id or aray scanner to find out its protection ?

Yeah, PiD v5 scan result is: "Possible CD/DVD-Check String -> Bitte legen Sie die" ...

(That's indeed a part of the message that appears if you run the game without CD.)

But what copy protection is this?!

I suggest SecuROM v5.
Neverwinter Night's with all expantion and latest version, the PiD v5 says possible -> cdcheck and CDkey.
Not SecuROM and it's SecuROM protected. CDkiller had problems with SecuROM before within PiD v5..

If you got a realy good burner, run achohol and use "SecuROM *new (4.x/5.x)" profile with lowest reading speed. And the datapotion... burn with the lowest speed also... try that out..

Hm, well...trying around with this game is a waste of time, it isn't really worth the effort. Tried it again and again, even with Securom...

Maybe someone will make a NoCD, until then the original CD will do the work.
