Is it yet possible to play psone games without a mod chip or cartridge attached? Can it be done any other way??

I know im probably hopelessly optimistic but any help would be appreciated!!!

You can try the PSX-change boot disc, not sure if all games are compatable though. The best way will always be a modchip.

PS-X-Change disc works and with antimod games you will need to enter codes. Those codes may be really hard to find too.

My modded ps1 wouldn't play Legend of dragoon because of that protection. I had to use a GS disk to bypass it.

I tihnk I was ripped off, I bought a supposedly "stealth" chip.

I still have a stealth chip that has never been beaten. I also have the legend of dragoon patch. I never had to use it though.

ill post a full "walkthough" to the PSX swap-trick...im not sure if it will work with the PSOne model Playstations but this trick has enabled me to play both PAL and NTSC games on my Playstation.

*PS: a lot of people are posting here on converting between NTSC and PAL, but I solved that problem for me by hookin up my PSX to my new TV. Generally the newer TV's these days can handle both NTSC and PAL*

If you want me to private message you the instructions, just send me a PM and ill post you the instructions.
