Maybe its a so called V6, where the reset/eject cable goes in "upsidedown"?
the fuses are good, i tried 2 power supply boards which im postitive one works... and my ps2 is a v.7, which side of the reset/eject goes in upside down, the end connected to the main board, or the side connected to the reset/eject buttons
completely dead???? No sign of life at all?? U have checked the main fuse on the power supply board right?
Usually u get a vaige sign of life with a Mobo fuse gone.
hey, yes completly dead, im sure the power supply worked because it worked in another ps2...
a guy in another website told me to check the ps1 fuse or something, said it was in the very center of the motherboard, but 1. i cant find it, 2. i wouldnt know how to check it or replace it if i could find it....
please help im getting desperate
Why dont you send it to Spedmetal or someone who can check all the fuses. Without a multimeter and general knowledge of the PS2 fuses your just grasping at straws anyway.
