Hi there,

I'm thinking about buying a DVD writer in the next weeks, and although I've browsed through the forum and the various threads regarding PS2 backups and DVD writers, I couldn't find out which writer is "best" for doing PS2 backups.

Which are you suggesting?
Of course, I would prefer the cheapest one ;)
But it's no use if I buy a rather cheap burner for EUR 50 (around $60 or so) and it won't burn working PS2 backups (in connection with a Mod chip, of course).

I'm considering the NEC-3500A, just for your info.

What do you think?

Well, since obviously none of the over 120 viewers could give me a hint, I bought the NEC 3500A. I hope I won't regret it, otherwise I blame...YOU! ;) :p

Btw, I couldn't edit my post. When I clicked "edit", it looked like I nearly deleted the thread
