FTTP Problem!!

On my pc my LAN connection says: "Limited or no connection" and therefore cannot connext to my xbox.

ANY IDEAS??

On my xbox setting my DNS is 0.0.0.0 I'm sure it has something to do with it!!

Please help

change it to the settings your PC is using e.g. 192.168.1.*

dns doesnt matter all u need is the ip sub mask and default gateway.

Setup you xbox to 192.168.0.2 on the xbox
Set up your gateway to 192.168.0.1
set up your pc to 192.168.0.3 and as soon as you ftp your box it will work perfect and make sure your using the correct cable. i.e crossover and while ftp-ing keep your xbox in the evox dash

Do you have to write changes to the evox.ini file settings before you write the boot up disk or can you just change the settings on boot up.

All my IP addresses are set correctly and I get the FTP connection but it drops out after 5 seconds and i don't get to see the x box drives. Something is mising from the equation and I don't know what it is? Anyone know what's going on?
