Where Can I get a Update 4 my Messiah2?

I´ve googled for some news about the messiah2, but there aren´t any helpful results :mad:

Does anybody know where can I download some Updates or something (MP3-Player eg) for my Messiah 2?

I don't think they have something like that specifically for the Messiah Hmm I don't think you could.... it's not like the chip is flashable or anything right? Also the messiah group is gone right? Well sort of, now they're the Ghost team..... ? Correct me if I'm wrong....

If you want these features you need to buy a new chip like the Infinity od DMS3.

That's a little harsh saying that it's prehistoric... ;) I'm still using mine! Though I am considering switching to a Infinity..... :)

Oh, hmm and how can i switch my chip?? I´ve got a SCPH-30004 (PAL) PSX, and the chip i´ve got now (messiah2) wasn´t build in by myself.

Can I erase somehow the fixes on my platine?? And is a infinitiy possible on my prehistoric psx???

No, you have to unsolder the chip from the motherboard and the resolder a new one in...

You take the old wires off the board and solder some completely new ones onto the board and to the Infinity.

I deeply suggest getting someone to do it for you - it seems you know jack about soldering, lol ;)

So and there is my next problem ( I can´t belive i´m so freaky :o )

So i googled for Matrix, maybe i can buy it cheap anywhere.. so .. and then I looked at the picture... and what does this say:

THE MATRIX MX2 - Chip ( I never heard bevore) looks exactly like mine, so I don´t know if it is now a Messiah 2 or a MX2 or are these 2 chips not different?? Please help me:

On my chip (I unscrewed my PSX2 it says:) A54SX08A-F TQ100 0341

*hehe* And if i get out that my chip is a MX2 then it is probably a Fake One or not?

Well cloned Infinity chips don't exist to my knowledge so I think you're pretty safe ;)

Ernie why dont you just sell the old PS2 and buy a Premodded console from a reputable installer?? That or send the console to a installer and let him desolder the chip and reinstall a infinity. Then you will be done with it.

Nothing wrong with the messiah 2. Never has a problem with mine played everything 1st time. You can run the ps2 reality player from a cd to play your mp3's and divx files.

yep. yr right. there is nuffin wrong with either messiah or messiah 2. it just that modern chips do so much more and have so much more developement put into them.

sry. didn't mean to be harsh!!!! It just that i used to be a firm messiah fan until Matrix Infinity came about an now messiah ain't all that!!

as advised....sell it as a S/H ps2 unmodded an use proceedes to buy new one wiv Matrix Infinity pre installed.
