VOB to AVI??? What exactly are you trying to do? You say you just got a DVD burner. Are you trying to make a copy of a DVD movie?

Why not just get your original dvd and use CloneDVD2 or something similar to shrink that?

I use AnyDVD and CloneDVD to make the ISO file and Alcohol 120% to burn the new DVD. CloneDVD does not work so good to burn with.

Make sure you have AnyDVD running when you run CloneDVD2. It is basically a driver and it will run in your taskbar.

ok i got ulead dvd movie factory 3 and i went to go burn my avi files and it says the file was to big(6.8gb). i think this is because the movie i made a back up of was a hour and forty minutes. so i created the dvd files using dvd movie factory and used dvd shrink to make them smaller and then burned them with conedvd. it got no errors but when i went to go play it the video skipped but the audio was fine. (i have used dvd decrypter, dvd shrink , and clone dvd to make a copy of my dvds before with no problems)

so my question is does anyone know of a program that can burn avi or mpeg videos to dvd's that are more then 120 minutes?

I just posted this to another thread, but incase you do not read it....

Legal software that is in test stage home page says...I have used it with great success.

Only thing I notice is if your avi file has any audio sync problems to the video, this prog. will not fix that.

Give it a try.

I agree with you 100% on what you say but I use nero for the burn, everything else I do the same. Tyler put me onto AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 about 5 months ago and I havent looked back since.
I dont know why 'Team Schumacher' goes about the whole process in complete circles, especially since the team is usually so smooth with their Ferrari's :p
