I'm thinking about buying this game, but only I don't have a PS2 =( so I wonder if there is any emulator that it works on, don't tell me that I shouldn't buy it because mostly emulators don't work or that it is very unstable and so on (I know that), just tell me if you know any emulator that it works at all on...

Geez man, don't be a cheap skate. Buy a PS2 as well, they're cheap enough. That's what I did as I didn't want to wait around for the Xbox version.

I'll probably buy that too when it finally comes out :p

btw, I don't know of any emulator that will run it atm, if ever.

Eh, there are emulators. Just that they don't do much and pretty much suck. Actually they really aren't worth mentioning.... I give credit to those guys on the emulator scene, but really, if you looked at the progress at this point it's kind of sad. It really isn't worth trying to use an emulator, just get a ps2. You can probably find a decent used one for pretty cheap.

Emulators are FAR from running commercial titles - if they ever will.

Just wait for the PC version it will be better anyways and it's much closer than the XBOX version.

Really? They look and play so much better. You can see farther, aim better and I had my ps2 controller hooked up for the helicopter.

I have GTA3 and Vice City on the PC too and I will say that I do like the mouse for aiming (the PS2 analogue controllers suck in this regard) and have higher resolutions, etc, but I'd rather play the game sitting back in my armchair than hunched up over a keyboard ;)

The Xbox seems to be the perfect solution, great graphics, decent controllers and I get to use my widescreen TV

After all, they are originally console games.

U know that pc tech an human will.......will eventually overcome. I seem to remember someone makin the same "never happen" statement when someone suggested a PSone emu a while back.

but as for now................Forget It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Apparently no one remembers not long after the ps2 came out, a Japanese gamer had an emulator (pc) on his site. Only a very few gamers downloaded it before Sony found out and closed down the site. Geez, I sure would like to know those fortunate few who managed to get the emu.

Yuh....ok......what ever.....and this "PS2 Emulator" just vanished. Dunno where you heard this but its BS. Software doesn't just disappear. Loads of PS1 emus were attacked by Sony but they didn't vanish!

get a grip!!! :D

I must say I find that emulator crap totally unbelieveable. If it were true (and that easy to accomplish) we'd have several working emus out now. Besides, that news would be everywhere - and to say only you out of everyone here seems to have heard it - maybe you have the issue confused with another console...
