when i try to make an image file of a ps2 game i keep an error saying illeagle file format encounted.could anyone please help.

if yes download later version

Yes - you've described a symptom of that problem. CDRWin is too important for making backups to be other than legal and it contains traps to defeat cracks.

Buy CDRWin. Or delete the copy you have and download a fresh trial copy.

Then buy it. I'm sure you'll get hacked off with being restricted to 1x burn speed! Therer are two things you need to buy with your PS2, CDRWin and CloneCD.

i have a copy of clone cd but when i install it and run it,it locks my computer up.

What reader & burner do you have? Is USB involved?

More so with W98 and WMe than W2000. If you look at the CloneCD list of supported burners, and especially under Iomega, you won't find a USB device. You might see one in the CloneCD or CDRWin drop down device list, but it almost certainly won't have the full RAW+96 functionality. Buffer underruns is a problem with USB devices, by the way.
