I did the conversion awhile ago but did not test it out. I can no longer find the CDs (unless I start digging around) and was wondering if someone ran into the same problem. I did try a search as well.
I dLed the Far Cry.msi file from GCW instead of editing it with orca, which is making me think it is the culprit. I still have all the files ripped to my HDD but not the original Far Cry.msi which is busting my balls right now.
When installing, I pass the point of choosing DX and Adobe Reader when it gives me error 1334, can't find _C5C7yaddayadda in game.cab, which is true since it isn't in the game.cab file. I then editied the msi file to take out all the instances to that to see if it would at least go and it did but stopped at another file _48899something.
Anyone else run into this problem? Maybe someone can send me an untampered Far Cry.msi file to check it? TIA.
