Ok I am Pissed

Seriously I am pissed off. The one freakin game I have been waiting for for over a year has been delayed once again, Gran Turismo 4. I didn't have a ps2 for 7 months but just broke down and bought one 3 weeks basically just for this game. Hell by the time the damn thing is released, the ps2 will probably have another price drop. Sorry, just had to vent a little.

Sh*t Happens.. I bought my PS2 in Austria a few weeks after release! And I paid 450 € (~400-500 $) for:

PS2; DEMO-CD; 1 Joypad; Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec; Memory Card 8MB

and now you can get it for ~200€ with Memory Card, 2 Joypads; Eye Toy + A Game of youre Choise...

Damn..it seems like people who don´t wanna wait must pay :o

Yeah, well hopefully it'll be worth the wait. Unlike Halo2 which was delayed several times before release.

Yep, GT4 is a biggie that I'm waiting for! Can't wait for it! Hopefully it's compatible with HDL :D :cool:

Is it true they have scrapped online play?

I bet the sneaky sods would release one next year for online action....

Yeah, I was pissed when the UK/European version of GT4 got delayed some weeks back until March 2005. Heck, if that date holds, it will mean that its been almost 4 years since GT3 (the last proper entry in the series, Concept and Prologue were just bonuses) and I still dont have 100% completion on that game (Roughly around the 87% mark). Some of the Advanced races just kick my ass. If I dont come first, I dont save ;)

Skykid, yes online play has been dropped from GT4. SONY/Polyphony Digital have hinted that there will be another Bonus release sometime next year that will have online multiplayer.

By the way, GT5 has been announced for PS3 (like that wasn't obvious). For the 1st time ever, damage will be visible on the car models
